Abstract

|
The recent knowledge on the congenital cataracts are reviewed. General remarks, etiological factors, diagnosis, and preventive and therapeutic measures are briefly discussed. Advantage and disadvantage of both early surgery and operative procedure in later stage of congenital cataracts including rubella cataract are compared and criticized.
